Considering this HID kit.

you should do it right and retrofit a projector as well, so you don't blind people with shitty HID capsules in places where incandescent bulbs are supposed to go

I ended up getting my set from XenonDepot. They arrive tomorrow and I got the LED fog lights to match...we will see. I went with the Extreme kit in 5000K to match the fogs.

No, I'm using the stock projectors in my 2014. I am going to see how they work out first. This is just for the lights, ballast and relays.

If your going to put a drop in kit, into the stock projectors, it would be my recommendation to get the TRS kit. Very quality components, and a good company.

However, from what I remember, you dont have a '14, and don't have projector headlights. Would be stupid to put any HID kit into something that doesn't at least have projector headlights.

My $0.02 on aftermarket HIDs: Skip them and stick to stock bulbs. That way you aren't being a dink and blinding every single oncoming driver on the road. Instead, install auxiliary LED bar(s) and be courteous by only using them when there is no oncoming traffic.

HIDs used to be the necessary evil a few years ago when they were the best option for getting some extra lumens pointed in front of you, but current LED technology has rendered the upgrade all but obsolete, IMO.
