Console Vault for 2003,2005,2005

Just ordered mine today from Console Vault, item #1035. Its not posted on their website or at least I could not find it. $254, no tax and free shipping. You have a choice of combo lock (like on a brief case) or what I chose...which was the tubular key model. Will post pics when installed.

Pre Install

The white circle is actually an egg to give you a reference of what the size of this box is. Seems very sturdy and solid lock. Opted for the key vs dial. Will show pics of install shortly

Here is the finished product securely bolted to the truck inside the OEM center console box sleeve. VERY easy to do....These are posted on FB on my firearms dealer page. The images were to large to upload on this site.

Did you have the stock radio Auxilary box, and did you have to remove it?

All I had to do was clean all the crap out of the center console, remove the 2 OEM screws ...slide in the Console Vault, bolt back down with 2 new longer screws provided by CV. Pretty simple project...the longest part was getting the old stuck coins and Jolly Rancher candies out of the bottom!

Here is a full size 1911 A1 Springfield...it fits in the vault but is not readily accessible in time of quick need. Certainly for storage...yeah, that works but for quick draw...its cumbersome.
