Corolla led projectors!

Hey guys, I found a set of these a few months ago and put them in my dads 5th gen, they project the light further than the stock lights and have a high color temperature, which is great for his long rode trips, how do you think my truck got so many miles on it.

anyways, trs has another set for sale for $175. they come with shrouds and the led drivers, which can be run directly off the stock plug, no harness required. the only downside is the shrounds need to be modified, and there are no high beams, but if you have auxilary lights, or put something else in the housing, they would be awesome. anyways for $175 its a steal.

also these might work better on a 5th or 4th gen, but thats not really my crowd, and also no offense but they have no balls.

I have been thinking long and hard about doing this since the new corolla came out. I may have to pull the trigger on it lol.

We're always replacing headlights at work, I'll have to keep my eyes open for some of these just in case. I always keep the HID headlights I replace but haven't done anything with them. I'd like to have brights too but a set of aux lights is an easy fix for that. Thanks for the heads up.

I can't contribute very much to this since I haven't done much of it, but working at Toyota, I discovered they're having some issues with the projectors in the new Corollas. They have their own built-in ECUs and they have problems with them failing and/or moisture build up. They're also sealed, so to get new factory ones, you have to get entire assemblies for big $.

If you have a decent price for aftermarket and you can make them work, I think it's a pretty good plan that I hope works out for you.

it includes anyone who doesnt have balls to modify their truck, how about that haha.
Huh. So I guess I've got balls because I just retrofitted a TRS set that is bixenon so I don't lose brights. And I only paid about another $75 over the Corolla set and it came with everything. There's a reason those Corolla retrofits are so cheap after all.
