The ride is actually not as firm as the Superflexes with the Fox 2.0 shocks. I went with the HD springs because of my drawers in the back with all my tools in them. I'd like a bumper, but I want to design my own with a swing out. The LT kit is well worth the $ to me and I'd buy it again no questions asked! If you're in the market for new rear coils, I'd definitely recommend them!
The offset lower links definitely help, but you'll be fine running with out them for the time being. I ran mine with the stock lower links for a while with out issue, like you said it just binds at full droop, i still don't have the uppers but i don't think they have any affect on the travel you get their just stronger. I don't think i ever hit on the gas tank the with the springs? The only place i still rub is on the inner gas tank from the drive shaft when i'm fully flexed out, which i need to trim but plan on getting the RCI gas tank skid so i've been lazy to trim the stock one haha
Any issues with the Light bar on the front bumper?
Hey cpark_12 loving your build thread. I just pulled the trigger on the metal tech lt rear coils for my 03 4Runner. Through in the bump stop drops and extended brake lines. I haven't pulled the trigger on my front coils though. Right now I've got bilstein 5100's all around with stock springs and coils. What do you think I'll need to do to get some OME 885's (or another coil with 3" lift) in so that I won't have any forward rake??
I was going to go with the medium duty so that I would have a 3/2 lift with the 885's in front. But now I'm nervous that by opting for the heavy duty rear coils I'll end up with that forward rake by being at a 3/3 ratio. I'm not able to opt for new UCA's at the moment so I'm trying to stay with in those angles if at all possible. I appreciate your feedback!

I've been debating on getting the 885's or just go all out and get some Icon coilovers. I'm leaning more towards the 885's because it'll give me the height I want, be a good ride, and still be good off road...plus, I don't do any "hardcore" offroading (although I really want to get more into it!). I go to ORV parks and forests.
Do you have any kind of weight in the back of your runner, or do you plan on putting drawers in eventually?? The reason I ask is that if you even think you want to put any kind of weight back there, go ahead and get the HD LT kit. It'll save you in the long run!!
Hope that helps!
Drunner97 got everything installed yesterday. But I'm wondering if / how I can remove my rear away bar. I know cpark_12 did. How is it feeling? And how the hell do I get it out??? Haha it's just balancing on the rear diff and I can't finagle it out.... Thinking since I don't have removable away bar end links that I should just cut it in half ( they only run 50-80 bucks). I just feel like it will be pointless to have the LT coils with that damn sway bar... This is my DD so I am concerned about on road handling. cpark_12 sorry to blow up your build thread with all of this. Someone please PM me if you have any input! Thanks!!![]()
Yea...I haven't had any problems running mine without the sway bar. I honestly can't tell the difference since I took it off. If did take some work to get it off too. I took the drive shaft loose from the rear to drop it. It's only 4 bolts to do itDrunner97 got everything installed yesterday. That looks greatOkay...like I said, it's gonna be a slow process!
I pulled the back passenger bottom seat out and attempted to recover it. I think it turned out excellent!
Some pics...

This took me about an hour or so from pulling it out to putting it back in. I'll have a little more time tomorrow, so I'll probably start on the back part of that seat...Heck, I maybe able to do the rest of the back too!
