Seriously. The heavy hitters Downpour and Liny have the axles going under the front. Gauge is getting his turbo setup going with Scotty, just to name a few. :biggrin2:

Dous is about to start his swap too! Props to you though man for building one of the most badass capable IFS rigs I've ever seen. I had to pull the plug on mine, I'd just keep breaking stuff. Especially since I have 410k on it, it needed an overhaul.

Awesome build. Curious how you we ill change your tail light bulbs with that rear bumper though?

Thanks a lot for the compliments guys. And thank you Downpour for the well wishes on the wedding. It is less than 3 weeks away on the 23rd. Looking forward to it for sure. All the planning and $$$ are finally going to be shown. Then the two weeks all inclusive in Cancun for the honeymoon. Can't wait.
As for the taillights, there should be room to rotate them around towards the inside once the pins on the outer edge are released. There is about 1-1 1/2" of clearance in front of the lens with it mounted. Ill try to get them out today and see how it works. Maybe I will get a quick video if I can.
If you look at the first pictures of the passenger side, on the last page, I got a side shot to show how much room there is in front of the lights.

Pending if I can get the tail lights out without pulling the bumper, the plan is to weld it to the frame. I have already dropped scab plates on the frame for legs coming off the sides to keep those from bending in when hit. With the carrier in place it should be fairly rigid from side hits with the additional cross supports on the swing out. Plus I will be dimpled plating the openings at the front of the 1/4 panel protection to help stiffen as well and to compliment the plating on the Addicted Offroad bumper.
If I want to go further with overkill I may drop a second leg back to the frame on the sides but I doubt that will be needed. There were diagonal supports for the wings that were never put on the bumper before it was sent out, which Scotty sent to me after. I may have Any7 add those as well. Every little bit helps right? Need to figure out whether those are needed though as I have rock lights that were going to be tucked up under the rear corners after the legs were welded in.

No great pictures cause I had to rush off to my tattoo appoinent but the gate is pretty much finished up. They will be getting things finalized tomorrow with mounting the tire to it and making a mount for the factory license plate holder.

Carrier is mostly done. Still have a few things to address on it on Tuesday next week but I can get it painted this weekend so it doesn't start to rust.
- Additional post stop above the latch for a more solid lock out point.
- Frame tie ins for the side of the bumper
- Add some diagonal supports underneath for additional support.
- Run power to the plate frame lights.
- Recess the plate farther up against the tire.
- Figure out a way to stop the carrier from opening all the way.
- Mounting Tabs for my CB and Ham antenna's.
Other items still to address
- Diff guard
- Lower link mount reinforcement
- Offset brackets for cargo cover mounts.
Aaand probably a couple other things I forgot about. :crazy:

Came out awesome! The license plate "frame" is cracking me up :lmao: How come you had to take that piece off? Was the tubing for the carrier hitting it?

Well I had bought a second one to mount there to keep the factory look going. Its sticking off farther than I had hoped and not sure about it. I may pull it and just mount the plate to the bracket. Just need to find a way to light it up....

To further explain my reasoning, I had originally wanted to incorporate a poison spyder style carrier on to the back. http://a248.e.akamai.net/origin-cdn.volusion.com/lgvao.rxfco/v/vspfiles/photos/14-13-010-2.jpg My original thought was to have the factory tub recessed into the stinger with the tire on the back side of the swing down to allow the factory look and use of the factory light harness and bulb sockets. This obviously isn't how it turned out and I had the license place tub stuck in my head as something that had to be there.
Looking at it more last night, I realized that I really didn't like the look so it came off. Any7 made a mounting plate where the hardware sandwiched the plate and tub together with the same hardware. Pulling it took two minutes and I just bolted the license to the plate. Need to pick up some lights now at work and get them wired up this weekend. (We have a full international truck parts store which carries maxxima lighting) I think they have the enclosed license plate lamps in stock.
Here are the current pictures of the carrier tans plate tub. Much simpler now.
And a shot to show how snug it sits to the hatch.
