Crossbar Piece

Greetings all,

I'm stumped. I just bought some OEM crossbars for my 2014 T4R. They came with 2 rubber strips about 2 inches long. I can't for the life of me figure out what they are for. Does anyone have any idea?

They slide into the rail slot after you put the rear crossbar in. They are there to keep the crossbar from sliding all the way back against the cover. There is a good primer in here on the installation. Look up 5th gen roof rack crossbar installation. And be aware there is a FRONT and REAR crossbar.

Hard to believe Yotota does not include ANY instructions in the box. Even just a picture would do the job.
