My plan ATM is to build my own bumper in the style of this one and/or CBI's.
But it the price is right on this I might save myself the headache.

That's the same thing I'm doing. There's some custom bumper fabricators around me that could do it but if the price is right I would rather just receive a package in the mail but I doubt the fabricators around me are going to fool with a tire carrier but I've gotta get the cash before I can think about that

What's that weigh?
I'm not quite sure on the pricing and availability yet. The bumper is beefy but couldn't answer how much it weighs. It came with free installation. With that being said, I have Allpro 3.5" coils and it did not sag.

So I emailed Cruisenoffroad yesterday and got a pretty good response from Jason, Owner/Fabricator. He does intend to put the bumper into production and he made a Jig when he built [MENTION=102933]RaceTRaCk[/MENTION] bumper. Soo now do you guys want the good or the bad news first? I'll give you guys the good new first i think us 4th genners have had enough torture over the year with our very limited bumper options and inflated prices:croc:
He is looking to price the bumper around $1300 CAD and with a swing out + $450 CAD Oh hold on let me just convert that for you--- Thats $1037.14 for the bumper and $359.16 for swing out or for the Grand total of $1396.05 for the bumper with swing out! Of course this isn't set in stone yet but it's not a bad start if you ask me. Also he said price could change depending on what other options you want etc.
The bad well it's not horrible but he's completely booked right now for the next 2-3 months so he won't be able to get started on it until then. Basically he said he's got a list and once your names to the top then well it's time, could be sooner or later but he said that's what it's looking like right now.
So guess who's name is on the list :biggrin2:
I'm still waiting to hear back from him about shipping to the states ? I spoke to a buddy of mine the other day and he said it's not outrageous in some cases it's comparable to shipping in the states so i will keep you guys posted on that, i have a little time to sort it out ...

Nice, that's a good deal especially with the canadian dollar so low. My bumper is holding out perfectly fine. Several trail days and counting, the tire carrier is still as sturdy. Added my own gas can carrier. The only thing I would maybe change is the latch, I'd like something with a longer lever.

Yes the exchange rate works out great for us! Awesome that's good to hear,I'm definitely getting the tire carrier. I'm not sure what other options I want I may also have him add a jerry can as well. That's also good to know about the latch that is something I'll mention before mine gets built. Thanks for the feedback!
The US $$ and shipping were the 2 reasons I went local and plus I've seen his work on other local rigs. The latch, I know he only uses this style but discuss it with him. Ill try and take a photo of when I get the truck cleaned up. Don't get me wrong though, nothing is wrong with it.

Shoot i'm in the state and still the prices on some of these bumpers here are crazy for me! Yes i've checked a lot of his stuff on FB too and he does awesome work! Ok cool yeah i'm going to go over all the details before he actually get's started so there's time.
He did get back to me to about shipping to the states and said it would be $300 to any commercial address so that's not so bad...

I like that the tire is offset. Im very interested in one. Could you possibly post more pics? Close up of underneath, how flush it runs with the body, etc?

I'm not really sure what you mean? When you say the angle you mean because it's offset to the right a little? From what i can see it's tucked in as close to the hatch as it can get. Plus you have to have a flush place where you latch it to the bumper.

i was saying tuck the bottom of the tire in more vs having it at an angle

Oh ok i see what your saying, that doesn't really bother me too much.In a way i think it matches the back hatch because it is at a little bit of a angle, unlike say a jeep that's completely flat. I'm sure that's a easy fix though if you wanted built like that...

Awesome man looks great! Thanks for the extra pics! Wait so without the highlift mount it will stick out further from the back , Or you mean in more? Do you think you will be able to add a longer lever for the latch or maybe Jason can ? I'm going to see it will work with the Gobi ladder or see if he can make it shorter so it latches more in the center of the bumper, But by looking at the pic then i won't have a place to mount the license plate. Shoot any suggestions anyone? Also I want to see if Jason can weld bars on the side by the rear quarter panel to give a little extra protection. Kinda like this, also that's a good example of where my ladder is..

Who made this bumper? Looks pretty dope. Want to add a rear sometime in the future but not sure when. Hopefully by the time i decide AOR has their design out too.

It's a CBI but the push bars on the side i was talking about are custom. The thing i don't like about it is it doesn't really give you any extra ground clearance the second thing i don't like is the price haha i think the Crusin off road bumper is much cleaner the difference in clearance looks like crusin off road integrated the hitch up as far as they could into the cross member or even cut it off where is CBI it looks like it's lower in the same stock location. Yeah i'm interested to see what Scotty from AOR comes up with? I'm thinking it's going to be more of a hybrid style like their 3rd Gen but i'm sure it will be good Scotty does great work.
