Cup holder insert mod idea. Thoughts?

Still better than the shallow cupholders on the 5th gen. Even a dixie cup would topple over in those things, the absolute WORST. Then they give you these stupid rubber inserts that stay on your drink whenever you pull them out. Horrible.

The best Toyota Cupholders I have used to date are on the 02-07 Sequoia. Plenty deep and the rubber things allow for many different sizes and hold them all tight. So simple and perfect.

Had to bump an old thread. Has anyone figured out a good way to hold drinks in these cup holders?

Do you have any problems with the lights in the cup holder, I'm quit working

I just noticed that my lights in the cup holder are out as well. I just knocked on the top (flat part near the compartment door) a few times and the lights came back on. This also works for the lights on shifter console. Knock on it a few times and they should come back on.
