Custom Front Bumper

Looks great!

Mind if i I ask how much it ran you? Also, it looks to be bolt on, is that correct? Any idea of its total weight? And finally, did you guys ever talk about incorporating a winch into it?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, the bumper cost $500.00. The owner told me that it was the last bumper like that he will build for that cheap, as it took him quite a bit of work to get everything up his standards. It is bolt on, using the same holes that the stock bumper used. We did not talk about putting a winch into it, simply because I don't ever plan on getting one. I added two recovery points on the front and will just use my strap if I or someone else gets stuck.

Lookin good! I don't usually like the look of tube bumpers on newer vehicles, but that one works quite well.

When at full compression, how close do the tires come to the tube ends under the fender flares?

Do you have to worry about more rust going on down there now that the bumper is not covering the internals?

Looks good. Sounds like your guy said the same thing mine said about cost - no more at that low price.

sounds like I need to find someone willing to build one show em the pics of both of yours and say, "they had em built for 500$"

if you cant go back to that well, find a new one! :bigok:

Thanks Techno, I don't know about full compression, but I will have an answer for you in a few weeks after a trip to Colorado!

4x4x8, I am not sure about the rust, I would assume that the difference in rust protection of the stock bumper and my new bumper is minimal. Plus I live in a desert....not much concern for rust here.

Looks slick! thats the kind of look I am going for when I build mine. And rear bumper. Can't wait for better weather so I can get started. Congrats on the good deal.
