Thanks JD! It was a pain in the a%# to get the shifter bulb out. Do I need my gauges in for the cup holder and shifter lights to work?

Nope! No gauges needed.

Wrap the glass bulb with electrical tape so when you grab it with the needle nose pliers, you'll have a way to grip it, and if you shatter the bulb, it holds the pieces together.

actually my shifter light didn't work while I had my dash apart. the dimmer harness was disconnected. make sure that is in and ur lights are on and u should be good

I'll just wait until my gauges come back. I already put the LEDs in, but no light. I even tried to rotate them around and still nothing. I hope I didn't damage it when putting them in :(

The cables on the dash cover near the gauges that you disconnected are required. You need to plug in the dimmer as JD said, in order for your interior lights to work
 
so i was sitting in my buddies F150 EcoBoost and noticed his gauge cluster and i liked the colors a lot. Was wondering if when i get mine into you could you do the white with blue needles but do a lighter blue. I saw in the pic the "red"line was a light blue. Is this the LED or is it a mix of colors in the LED and gauge overlay? If i remember correctly the needles are painted right? so to do this you would need a lighter paint, correct?

Depends what model you have if it's LED or paint for the needle. I can do that for ya!

It'll have to be a lighter blue. I can't do the redline because its molded into the faceplate. I don't offer the blue redline anymore cause it takes WAYYYY too long... Money talks
 
Do you know what's all involved or possible to change out factory jbl headunit leds colors?

Also my gauges should arrive there tomorrow!

i hate you for being so good at soldering haha your going to get rich off me! i ordered led's for the hvac to do all the lighting besides the arrow but the light isnt even all around is there a fix for that also and the readout looks dim kinda tint of green. then what bulb would i use for the rear window switch and the DAC button. and when i get some more money ill be sending you my 4wd switch and more than likely my stereo! haha thanks for the help

You need Neo-3 for all switches.

And there isn't a fix for the cold/hot spots in the HVAC unfortunately :/.

Think of me robbing you this way; you're helping a broke college student :)

You should just drop your truck off at UPS and have them box it up :P
