CV Re-booting. Which brand of boots is best?

I'm using the replacement kit from ORS, and couldn't be happier. After replacing my with Napa's, and having 1 fail within a week I went this.

Been on for about 6 months now, and about 5k miles with no issues.

Don't know about your neck of the woods, but around here the dirt and grit would turn the sticky-butt grease into flexible sand paper.

Ohhhh snap phenomenonal observation. Perhaps I could experiment. I'm about to do a full reboot, maybe I'll coat one side and leave the other dry, see which one pops.

Brand of my replacement boots is "EMPI" and I can say without question they are significantly thicker than the boots that came from on the NAPA remans which are tearing at the crease by the small clamp, NOT the meatier folds.

Who makes the Napa remans? Weird, because my observation is that the Napa boot kit appears to be better quality than the EMPI boot kit. I'm talking about the boot kit only, not the entire axle. Comes in a Napa box too.

I don't know who made the remans. Also, mines a 2nd gen mind you and I know a lot of you guys are rockin 3rds so in reality all comparison are skewed
