cv replacement and other squishy things

starting on my cv axle replacement and after taking the wheel off noticed a few things that don't look so good, some rubber bushings are disintegrating or torn so looks like more work ahead. after 296k I guess it's expected.. i'm about to get real personal with my baby..


about the bushings, is there one brand that is better than the other or is OEM the way to go?

I have seen a lot of people replace OEM with poly. I always think to myself if the OEMs lasted 296k then they should be good enough. Wheeling will definitely make them go faster than just DD. Search for poly bushings on the site and you should find some of the brands others are using if you decide to go that route.
