Any of you folks see these? I wonder what the difference is between our 4Runners and the trucks. This is about $1k cheaper than a TRD supercharger. Why do you see more superchargers than Turbos? Thanks.

I'm looking to buy the manifolds and downpipe, and provide the rest of the stuff myself. No way would I trust that Chinese turbo and wastegate. That's just asking for a blown motor.
I bought a spare oil pan couple weeks ago from some guy off Craigslist, and had an oil return bung welded on. I'm NOT looking forward to dropping the front differential just to put this thing on.

I'll create a build thread once I get further along. For now, I have a Garrett 57 trim T3/T4 0.60 A/R, and a Tial 44mm wastegate I plan to use.
One problem that I can already see is that the CXRacing manifold uses a bolted connection for the wastegate, and mine is v-band, so right off the bat I'll have to modify the manifold. I'm also holding off on buying the manifolds until the last minute when I'm ready to install. I've read how CXRacing can be hit or miss, so if these things don't fit right, I'll file a complaint with eBay/Paypal to get my money back (if it comes to that, hopefully it won't).
I've been following a couple other build threads using the CXRacing kit. One guy is on CustomTacos, and another guy is on TacomaWorld. I'd kinda like to see how their experience goes with fitting the manifolds up before I take a shot at it.
I'm also not looking forward to taking the stock manifold off. I'm already soaking the exhaust studs in PB Blaster when ever I have a free moment to go outside and pop the hood.
