Summary:
This was such a great learning experience for someone who wants to learn more about the capabilities of their vehicle. This was the 101 course. [MENTION=119302]4RunnerAquasport[/MENTION] also took their 201 and Winch/Recovery course. They also offer an “Overlanding” Course. I feel so much more comfortable with my vehicle and what it can do. The biggest issue I have is that my stock vehicle made it through just fine (except for some banged up skid plates) and now I can't justify to my wife spending $...lol. Kyle our instructor was fantastic and I can't wait to make it back up for the 201 course at some point!

[MENTION=120701]Cymon[/MENTION] Nice Job and Thanks Bro! We have to mention Gene (US Navy) the owner of the new "Trail", and [MENTION=126590]bloodninja[/MENTION] was out with his 5th gen rig too! Although it's a predominantly Jeep area, there were actually several Toyota's there through out the weekend. Park is Great and the courses were very informative for a flat lander (me). We did quit a bit of mild rock crawling which I was glad to try! Kyle is a good teach and recommend it highly. Learned a lot!

Yes, almost all events/rides are planned through the Facebook page as people don't check the Florida section of the T4R site regularly. [MENTION=98374]awthorn[/MENTION] who administers the page is also on here as a 3rd gen owner. Really awesome guy!

That's awesome! I'll have to check up on the fb page then to see what's new. My work schedule is weird as I spend half the year out to sea, but I'll try to catch up with y'all next time you go out! My 4Runner is all stock though, so I'm curious to see how it handles. I'm like north east of here, in Lakeland. Probably only a couple hours away at most.

The 201 continues to further add to your off-roading confidence. Post up if you go. We could try and get a group of 4Runners to represent at the park and perhaps wheel some more once you are finished with the class.

I wish I had my 4Runner when I was living out in the Bay Area, a lot more areas to try out and "practice". My only off roading then was on my mountain bike!

Nope, now living in South Florida I realize how lucky I was living in Maryland (some really good but not often publicized mountain biking) and around the bay. Needless to say my bike is rather clean at the moment...lol!
When I was out west it was
Subaru Outback + MTB
Now I have both vehicles and no where to go!

AOB Switch Install The Easy Way! (Completed In April 2016)
I actually installed the AOB “Air on Board” switch I was going to use for my LED Behind the Grill Light bar a few months ago, but in preparation for doing the “If I can do it You Can” light bar install write-up I decided to go back and also break down the step by step process I used to install the AOB switch (which has been working properly with the dimmer for the past 3 months unattached to anything).
This is another one of those “mods” that has been run through in dozens of threads on this forum. What I am attempting to do is show how I used all of that information and attempted to do it in the simplest and least invasive way that anybody with a pair of needle nose pliers can do.
