What are you using here? I need to buff out my paint like bad

Porter cable 7424xp dual action polisher.

Chemical guys hexlogic orange pad, yellow and red pads respectively. Mostly orange.

With Meguiars M205 Polish on the orange pads. Had to swap pads a couple times because of the single stage paint but otherwise was not an issue.

Sealed the paint with Menzerna power lock.

Interior was next. Did it the cheap way for now. The interior on this truck wasn't nearly as bad as exterior. Only really one major stain but nothing terrible.

The Rug Doctor and hand tool. $30 bucks for the day. Got both my cars to do as well as some rugs in the house so good deal for the money.

Nasty shit water. 4 5 gallon buckets worth of this shit came out. Odor neutral in the truck now, no pine tree needed.

Any tips or advice on rust conversion and painting of the frame? Need to go through some threads for that.

See you cleaned your mats, I cheated and pour the carpet cleaning solution then threw them in the washer and dryer. Sucked having to clean the washer out afterwards thou.

That's not a bad idea...but the rug doctor was only $30 and seemed to do a decent job. Although, I think it's worth taking it to a professional for the interior. I don't have a steam extractor and I don't plan on buying one and those things are the bees knees. A rental POS rug doctor wasn't getting out some of the little stains. But it did neutralize that "PO smell" which wasn't bad or anything, just now...there isn't a smell so I'm happy. Plus when you see the shit water coming out you know the interior is THAT much cleaner.

Didn't feel like buying two grease guns so using this for all zerk locations unless someone tells me my truck is going to explode for using moly in all of them...

Tim the Toolman's low tech power steering fluid change completed today.

Old fluid was probably original. Glad I changed it. Steering feels better and there is less pump noise now.

Used Redline D4 ATF which is compatible with Dexron III applications.

I had a shop do that and we went with aftermarket, similar to rockauto items but he could find cheaper. I wanted everything to be within smog spec, in hindsight I wish I done the Borla muffler that is popular to get a deeper sound. But so far so good with the parts now.

That does kind of look like Clearcoat Failure

I saw some signs that after 2000 they may have used clear and all...it was really not very definitive. How does the hood look?
