Dash bulbs burnt out

thats funny my 1990 runner does have the one little wee-67 light bulb back behind that control panel that lights up the entire control panel . works pretty good now that it has been changed out :nerd:

I tryed to find the bulb on my 1994 4 Runner but was unable to find it. I am trying today on my 1990 4 Runner since you did find yours. Any tips on where it might be? Left, Right, or Middle of the main panel? Thanks for any help.

4Runner Dash Light Replacement

You guys make it sound easy to get to the burned out bulbs - I must be missing something. I have a 1990 4Runner. I have removed the bottom piece of dash on the drivers side. I cannot for the life of me see how I might get to the lights for the tach and speedometer etc. Is there something else I need to remove?

once you get the dash trim off you will have to remove your climate control knobs and then the climate control panel behind that shows temps and fan speeds .once you have done this you should be able to see a distorted clear piece of plastic approx 3/8 x 2.5 inches long it just clips in . remove it and you will find the bulb behind it . :ybrick:
