DashBoard Lights..

Hello,

I just got a 1993 4runner 3.0 v6. One of the things that does not work are the back lights for the dash board. All gauges and warning lights work it is just the back lights in the dashboard and center console (A/C Heater controls) Since everything else in the dashboard works I was wondering it is not likely that ALL the bulbs went out at the same time, so does anyone have any suggestion to look at some particular wiring (or fuse) that could be causing the issure before I have to dig in the dashboard and look at the bulbs.

Thanks

My lights are pretty dim behind my mph instrument panel too, but as far as behind the A/C controls, I don't even think there is lights back there to begin with. If you figure it out be sure to update us.

pull the gauge cluster out and check all the bulbs they are simple 912 bulbs and easy twist and replace all burnt out bulbs.

4 screws hold in the cluster. you need to remove the cluster cover then take those 4 screws out then stick your hand in back of the cluster to pull the the speedo cable off.
