Day 1: What to do?

I've seen the sticky in the dealer forum with the 'new car delivery' checklist with items that check the overall condition of a t4r, but I'm curious if there's anything specific to the 5th gens that you would do on the first day (or week) you took delivery.

I've seen some posts on adding some 3m under the the nameplate on the back hatch before it gets a chance to rub into the paint and start to rust.

Anything else? I'm waiting on my LE and trying to put together a list of things to do before I get her dirty. It's being delivered to me with some aftermarket 17's wearing Michelin X-ICE as well as weathertech liners and 3m on the front.

Yep. Just drive it. I did walk around it to make sure there were no missing body panels or big dents though. Oh, I ate a McDonalds cheeseburger and fries in it right after I drove it off the lot. Can't have that new car smell messing things up right? You can use Tim Hortons though...

Day 1: shop for lift
Day 2: shop for 33 MTRs
Day 3: start cutting
Day 4: Install
Day 5: Wheel it

That covers the first week.

Right now all I can do is plan for when I get it, bug my sales guy (again), and keep being paranoid that the Audi I'm trading in is making another new noise that will cost me another grand before the T4R gets here

In retrospect, I wish I had sex in the 4R on the first day so I could post in this thread that I had sex in it the first day. Plus the sweaty sex would get rid of the new car smell way faster than a cheese burger and fries. So I suggest sex on the first day, and take pictures or it didn't happen!
