Daystar 1.25"/FJ Springs/Medic Links and Sway

I gained about 3.2" in the front and 1.3" in the rear after the install... This is using "before" measurements from other members because I forgot to write them down before the install. Well judging from my incredible gains, I guess my stock springs were about done for. The shocks were ok, no leaks, etc. so I'm leaving them on till I upgrade to coilovers.

Also catches my attention is the bumper, fenders and claddings are painted.
No peel off ??

Yeah when I bought it, the first owner had it factory matched when he ordered the car. I've never seen another one like it. After I bought it, I started looking around to see another one like mine, but the only 4Runner's with the "notched" fenders (2003 models) the bumpers, fenders, cladding are all dark gray. I feel I'm the only one with this paint job on here?!?! Anyways, no peeling, since it was delivered to the dealership like this! It only had 15,000 miles on it when I got it back in 2005.

YEA! looks good! Thought my car looked completely different w/o the running boards on too...

But how's the ride now???

Rides great! Better than stock... plus it feels like a real SUV now. I pulled up beside a suburban yesterday, and we were the same height. That's a good feeling haha

Added a Daystar 1.5" Rear Spacer, which I should have done in the first place. Looks alot better. I would have done the preload spacer as well, but I think I might get Bilstein 5100's for the front to firm it up some more.

looks great dood!!! i had to add the rear DS 1.5" as well. looked totally silly without it on my set up.

That's pretty cool. I had seen one with the cladding painted a few years ago and it was flaking off really bad. Must have been a cheap paint job. I might have to check into having mine painted.

Thanks guys, it feels alot higher with the rear spacer in... especially without the running boards. I'm liking it alot now. When I upgrade to 35's for my next tires (probably in a year, All-Terrains last forever!!!), I'm gonna throw on a 1.5" BL to top it off.

euy, yeah I'm a huge Grateful Dead fan. Me and Jerry have the same birthday! Not the same year of course haha... I'm only 23. Just saw your signature, looks like our 4Runners are pretty similar. Your T4R looks great. I think I'm gonna get some aftermarket black wheels instead of wheel spacers though. Thanks for the props from the West Coast.
