Specs first: Daystar 2.5/1.5 Comfort Ride top out "Easy Install" kit, for 03-09 Toyota 4Runners 2WD & 4WD
Part Number: DAYKT09115BK installed on a 2008 SR5 4x4
* This kit removes the factory rake and provides a slight lift
Before Measurements (ground to wheel well)
Front: ~33"
Rear: ~34.5"
After Measurements (ground to wheel well)
36" all the way around
I'm sure it will settle after a little, but this is what it measured when it first went on.
Spidertrax: 1.25" Wheel Spacers - Part# SPIWHS-007
I attempted the install myself, but unfortunately had a couple seized bolts on the skid plate so took it to PUR Performance (Performance Car Parts| Bed Liners St. Charles MO | PUR Performance) in St. Charles, MO to get an installation quote. They quoted me $265, which included alignment. I figured since the allignment itself is probably about $100, this is a good deal since it comes with their installation warranty as well as peace of mind that it is done correctly and I got to play golf all day:thumb3: I would have liked to do it myself, but for that price, I couldn't pass it up since I would have needed an alignment either way.
* I think it is also worth mentioning that I ordered the parts through www.4wheelparts.com and they sent me the wrong thing. They sent me the front kit for a tacoma and the rear parts for an FJ. Once I realized this, I called them, complained and demanded they overnighted the correct parts to me, which they did, free of charge, they also paid for me to mail the incorrect parts back to them. So, not the best transaction, but great customer service and definitely made up for their mistake.
Ok, so on to the pictures, let me know if you have any questions. Even though I didn't install them myself, I will do my best to answer them based on the information I've read here and my discussions with the installation crew at PUR.
