daystar 2.5 front & CV grease leak

Yesterday I installed daystar's 2.5 inch comfort ride lift in my 4x4 03 limited. Today I noticed a bunch CV grease splattered in the wheel well. No rips or tears in the boots (since both sides did the same). During the installation I'm sure I moved the cv's in different positions as I was working around.

Anything I should be concerned about? Is it because the CV is now in position with the lift?

It's a bad sign if you are getting a lot of grease leaking out already, but is a pretty simple fix. That post Chris linked should have everything you need.

Yeah I rebanded it and that seems to have stopped my issue. More curious as to how it's related to putting in the daystar lift.

CV angle changes when lifted & increases stress in the boot.

True, but this was instantaneous...soon as I drove off the driveway.

You might want to consider adding a diff drop kit. they are cheap and they really work!

For 30 bucks, makes sense.
