if you do the lift, I call dibs on 881s and 906s! how much would you be willing to part for those? and how much lift did they give you?

I think most of the "save it" comments were under the assumption that 1200$ was a lot of money for you and they didn't want to encourage someone to waste money that they would save themselves.
I'll reiterate that you probably don't need to replace the tranny cooler unless it is damaged or you have some other reason it needs to be replaced. Generally they're good to go.
I suggest going with the lift, but (although I think they are cool and want one in my vehicle) I don't know if the field monitor adds a lot of value. I wouldn't pay much money for one anyway, perhaps I'm underestimating them?

I'm sure you're probably already hip to this, but they say gold is still going to go up a lot more in the future and I totally believe it. I wouldn't be surprised if it doubles again within the next 2-3 years and gets around ~$2500/oz. It'll probably never go back down. Keep it all if you can! I believe that $200K in gold you have will be worth well over a half a million before the decade is up. My brother got me into gold and I bought about $5K worth when it was at ~$300/oz. 5 or 6 years ago. Now that investment is worth ~$20K!

Any kind of gold. Some is just worth it's weight, but coins and other gold items can be very collectable and be worth more than their weight because of age or rarity. The gold I bought was in coin form, but they aren't anything really special so my investment only went up because the base price of gold went up. Don't overlook platinum, silver or any other precious metals, they are all going up. It's sad, but as the US dollar goes down, precious metals seem to rise. Probably because gold still carries it's value around the world, unlike the dollar recently.

Now that we know you're a rich Son of a gun, he he he! I'd say do the lift! The lift will be a very noticeable mod, which always brings a smile to my face!
P.S: I've been investing in Silver, it's been going up substancially for a few years now as well. The silver I invested in, has already increased 60% in value! I had to stop investing in Silver when I bought the house, but I've also been investing in Company matched shares for the past 7 years. When i put in $100.00, the Company gives me $25.00! I ended up using a large amount of it to use as a Down Payment for my house! Now that being said, I need to start buying more bullion and more Silver stock!

Yeah, my grandparents had a very profitable (unbeknownst to them) hobby during the last 35 years of their lives. Anywhere from gold, silver and even a few platinum sets here and there, coupled with some collectible foreign currency and books upon books of collectible stamps. I can't wait until what they appreciate to in 5 years Thanks for the replies guys, I think that I'll be purchasing what I need to lift her up another inch or so. 881's and 906's gave me like 2" of lift when I was looking for 3-4".
SO: I'm gonna pull the trigger on even taller springs ; but am not aware too much of the harder OME springs. Will 883's and LC 8 wraps sit level with an ARB on the front? Or should I go for 883's and 890's? I Want a flexxy front and a flexxy rear too. I have the diff drop, but will I need a panhard drop in the back? I am thinking yes. Also going to extend the rear brake lines then too. So here's what I'm gonna buy:
- 883/890 (or LC 8's maybe?)
- Panhard drop
- SS rear brake lines
- Front skid plate (undecided)
- MAYBE lower control skids.... Maybe.
More thoughts appreciated.

I vote lift if I really wanted to spend it right away.
But I'd sit on the 1300 for a while, wheel a little, drive around more, ... until inspiration comes up for some mods. And when it does, you'll know exactly what to do. "Patience, young grasshopper...". (But you're probably too young to know where that line came from.

Well if I can't talk you into Vegas, my only other advice to offer you is what I try to do with my truck. I'm getting close to having it completely paid off here in the next few months, so i'm trying to go back over all of the components and clean, repair, or replace (or even upgrade) anything thats necessary so that hopefully everything remains mechanically sound for another 10 years. I usually try to come up with a plan for the mods so that for every $ I spend in doing mechanical work I spend a $ in a mod. Balance is the key, plus what good is a lifted or supercharged T4R if the brakes are bad or the waterpump's shot?
Of course, you could always do one of the best mods ever and throw half of it down against the principal on your next payment (providing of course that you do have a payment and don't already own it outright).

Not too sure about cooper plumbing but Kim familiar with copper, and yes copper scrap is mad dough -- used to scavenge it from my dad's build sites and haul 30-40 pounds every couple of weeks in the trunk of the LS400
