Deer Springs Trail Report

Kick-ass day at Welks Resort today. I couldn't it to the Corral Canyon run because I had work this morning, so I grabbed a buddy and his Tacoma and hit up deer springs.

Every difficult line I saw, I took. That said, I crimped my exhaust, and beat the crap out of my front skid plate.

Carnage!
Not only is the tail pipe bent, but look at the hanger. A complete U that now causes my exhaust to hit my trailer hitch.

If any of you SoCal guys want to hit this trail, I'm more then willing to guide you through, it's pretty easy to get lost with so many off-shoots.

I would probably stay away from this trail until you are lifted. Suspension travel is key in certain parts of this trail.

i'm looking at google maps, is it that dirt road next to the camaro? maybe a run next sunday? um do we need to airdown and shiz, and how dufficult are the trails because i have a handicap passenger axle if you know what i mean.

I'm on my phone so I can't see the camaro.
Before I answer the difficulty question,
Are you lifted? Do you have sliders or skids? Do you have a locker of some kind?

Edit- Nevermind, I'm on my laptop now and can see your signature. I don't air down. You don't have to either. Anyone coming with open diffs I suggest airs down for one section, unless they have skilled driver.

I went last Saturday with a member on here, I don't know his username, real name is Jason with a 1999-2000 T4R in black.

Well I was aired down to 20 psi and ended up going up an off shoot I hadn't done before and got stuck... We had to stack rocks in order for me to drive out haha

Hopefully I can make it on that Big Bear run.
