Demello Bolt-On sliders

I just had these put on this past week. Of course, had to test them out and get some pictures in the process. These are their bolt-on stage 3 hybrids with the kick out. I wish I had these kick outs on my Tacoma...would have saved the lower doors from some carnage.

They look good man. I should have some shrockworks sliders in before the end of the year. Also, both your toyotas look sick!

Nice! Jason and his team make quality products. I've been extremely happy with my set of Demello sliders.

Off topic - MrGrimm & Ttn333 - are you both SoCal locals? We should try to meet up and wheel some time.

I have been waiting for Demello to come out with these - they have a solid fan base with the FJ crowd.. It is good to have options as I have been considering the Budbuilt version...

What is the weight of the sliders and the cost? Most importantly, did they spec these for a TE with KDSS? I hope so..

Thx

Hey, those pictures look great, and your 4runner makes me gape in awe... What kind of camera do you use. Secondly, you should setup your garage on this site, so that I can look at your 4runner more

Any ideas on rough cost?

Their hybrid sliders for other models run roughly $450 without the kick outs. You would have to call them directly for an exact price. They do not have these sliders on their website yet.

I live on Cam Pendleton near San Clemente. I am all about hitting up some trails!

These are fitted for the KDSS system as I have that on my 4Runner. Washers are used to move the KDSS hydraulic lines out of the way to make room for the slider mounting brackets.

The camera I use is a Nikon D300 with the kit lens. (18-200 f3.5-5.6). I will get a garage up as soon as I can. I didn't even know about that feature.

So to fit on an SR5 would you just not use the washers and all the other holes would line up?

The intent of these sliders was to get a measurement for the bolt on versions that would fit all 5th gen 4runners. Call Demello to make sure.

thanks - the regular hybrids are by far my favorite. I know more of these will be coming out and more FJ accessories will be fitted for the 5th gen.

MrGrimm; Did Demello use gussets on the brackets the bolt to the frame? Shrockworks has gussets on all 4 corners which is a problem on the Limited since the XREAS lines get int he way in the front unless they are bolt on gussets.

I had to do some McGyver'ing to create clearance up front. If there are bolt on gussets the lines can run through the hole between the gusset and the bar that comes off the frame.

Thought this info might be useful for any LMTD owners who are removing rocker panels and adding sliders.

Okki

I will get some up close pictures tomorrow of the gussets and the washers for the KDSS lines.

Ya I'm a little curious as to how they go on, I really like these. Did they go directly on or did you have to drill any more holes.

Just got off the phone with Demello. Price is $634 including powder coating.
And it takes 4 weeks. None in stock. Probably will put in the order next week, after I find out what xmas damage is.

Edit: Looking at their website, $634 should include the mesh insert as well. The nice lady on the phone who quoted me the price said it was the same as the FJ's pricing.
