47 at the moment, purchased when i was 45...I work for an international ISP as an operations engineer.

not a mid life thing, ive got two motorcycles to ease that pain...i just needed a 4wd that i could trust, i didnt want some weaker AWDr, and when the woman to whom i am related by marriage did not want to burden herself with helping me with the car note, i proceeded to buying a 'manly' vehicle that would also be my daily driver.

We get our fair share of snow, and i spend enough time in New England that I have to deal with their snow also. It also is great as the family hauler with our 14 & 8yr olds. Since ive gotten it, i have discovered that i like the off-roading thing...and want more of it. i figure once i stop riding motorcycles (both street and racetrack) I will probably get more into the things this vehicle is made to do.

I had a Jeep, loved it, had a LR Disco Loved/Hated it...now i have my T4R, and am loving it also...

I have had several built hiluxes, a mild 80 series and now the 4Runner.
Adventure seeking is in my blood, i think.

This is my grandfather in 1937, he traveled all over CA racing.

Nice, my wife was a Senior PM for Clark LLC. She was building Stanford's hospital before we moved.

Letting my wife drive the runner and she loves it. I couldn't give up the stick so now in mazdaspeed3.

Can't beat the 4runner for those camping/fishing trips though. A beast in winter and does moderate towing well.

49 and in telecom infrastructure sales. Use it as my daily driver n weekend trail vehicle. Due to miles I travel, usually turn cars every three to four years. Plan on keeping this one past it's work life n continue building it for off road.
