Also; here are some installation photos!
This is the PCK - this bracket and a nut makes up the kit!
First thing you want to do is pull the panhard bar and move the wire that is clipped on the inside of the existing panhard bar mount - it'll go back on the opposite side of the mount when you're done.
The PCK should be a pretty good fit right out of the box, but minor trimming will be necessary from truck to truck. Here's how this one sat intitally:
On the front side (the side toward the spring) some trimming was required to get it to sit flush & level - you can see a minor gap to the passenger side of the wire tab; this is perfectly acceptable. I did minor trimming on 4 spots on the PCK to get this fitment (about 6 minutes, altogether.) I also trimmed the flange that was touching the brake line to give it clearance, then I pulled the brake line over to the spring with a couple of zip ties to give me room to weld back there.
Once you're happy with the fit, chamfer the edges on the weld-side. The inner faces of the PCK are 50mm apart, like the factory bracket, so align the inner faces with the factory mount. Since the PCK is made of heavier material, it will sit a couple of millimeters proud of the factory mount on the outside face.
STOP AND DISCONNECT THE BATTERY BEFORE WELDING.
Weld it up & paint it with your favorite brand of flat black (I used rust converter on the factory metal first, due to its condition), bolt in the panhard bar with the nut included in your kit (I used blue loctite on both panhard bar bolts), attach the wire clip to the outside of the bracket and you're good to go!
