Did I kill my clock?

Hey Guys,

Tried to do the 'tooth fix' on my not working so well 98 dash clock. My soldering skills are amateur and I feel I caused more bad then good. Is it beyond repair? Need to inprove my DIY skills.

The one closest to the corner is still loose after much soldering...

I screwed mine up trying to fix it. One of my prongs was really loose. I ended up buying a used one off ebay and then that one was on its way out. Paid 25 dollars and had a place on ebay rebuild it. I would install it and see if it works.

It just looks a little clumpy. Having trouble getting the solder to flow? You need some paste flux. Then it will flow easy peasy.

Yes, already tried soldering it. Cannot get last metal piece to stay soldered onto the board. Seems like the solder wont stick to the plastic. Afraid I either melted away some of the connectors or fried the circuit. Plugged it in and wont turn on. I will retry that solder again tonight in hope.

Uh oh, sorry I can't help you on this one. But, I think I know where you can get a new clock if you need one. Let's hit a trail this weekend or next.
