Diff breather extension

Hey guys I’ll be hitting up some of the GA traverse on Friday and I think I’ll need my diff breather to be extended for water crossings. I did a quick search under the 4th gen sub and didn’t see much. Sorry if this has been answered multiple times.

But anyways, I am trying to see what I need to get it done. I’ll need to do it tomorrow or the next day so I can’t wait on long shipping and I don’t want to spend $75 for the ARB kit.

Does anyone know of a write up or a how to but easily available parts?

The hardest part to get of the "kit" most use is the Toyota OEM barbed fitting that goes into the axle housing. You could probably get it from your local dealer. The rest is parts store attainable, a plastic breather and some hose.

You don't need it, I've been nervously deep a few times with the stock breather.

If its easier to do it afterward I would just do it later.

Here's some Toyota PN's:

90930-03136
90930-03031
I'm not sure which is which anymore, but I believe one is a threaded hose connector to replace your breather and accepts a 1/4 or 5/16 hose, one is a threaded breather like you most likely have in your diff now, the other is the breather that accepts a hose connection that with the first connector I mentioned.
Check these pN's on google and see what pops up.

Get the fitting and the breather valve, and a good length of fuel hose from a hardware store, along with 2 hose clamps. It didn't cost me a lot of money to do, maybe around $25? I ran mine up to the engine bay. Others do the fuel door, or inside the jack storage compartment.
