diff light flashing

so we just moved ans i cant find my manual. i used the diff lock yesterday and after I switched out of it the light stayed on. whats going on and what do i have to do to fix this. concerned,everything is at least 20 miles away

Did you try pressing it again?

Try the button again, and drive forward a few feet. Sometimes the locker doesn't disengage until you do that.

with the diff lock turned off, and the light is still flashing,
roll ahead a few feet and crank the wheel from side to side. More than you think-- like hand over hand on the steering wheel while rolling 5-10 feet.

you'll hear a loud 'crack' when it disengages, and the light should turn off.

(the crack sound is normal, believe it or not)

All better. I tried most of that stuff. But today it worked

Turn the steering wheel side to side when trying to lock and unlock. It will help it out. Also you have to be in low range.
