To my surprise, i may be shifting away from my beloved tahoe to a 4runner now that the Limited is in the mix. However, pricing of a used 2012 fits me better than a new 2014 but im trying to be thoughtful about this, weighing the differences and options. So far, i can determine any meaningful differences between the limited 12, 13 or 14 but im still new to 4 runners.

A few quick observations, wood trim wasnt intro,d until 2014 as well as air conditioned seats in 14. It looks like prev yrs only had heat. The etune sytems showed up in 12 and is the same today??

The rims and tires with 20 inch rims seem largely the same in each yr, right. What is different ?

They are all on the same chassis. It depends what is important to you. If you have the opportunity to drive both, do so. Other than the things you've already mentioned, the main differences will be aesthetic. If you really want a/c seats, you have no other choice. If it's financially intelligent to buy used, stick with that. There aren't enough differences between the models to overcome your financial comfort.

:iagree:
I test drove 12s, ordered one and received a 13. Other than the location of the usb port, I don't know what is different.

Same vehicle with different make-up. Other small things: memory seats on the '14 and new instrument cluster and back-lighting. Different front-end styling and rear LED lights.

Diff

So is the wood and ac seats only abail in 2014? Same with memory seats, i want that feature, is it only 14?
