Digital instrument cluster

With digital dash you can do lot of configurations and yet this one looks almost like a stock mechanical dash. What gives?

Regarding the stock photo - not every year looks like that. I believe there are at least 2 other configurations. Mine is a 2015 and looks nothing like the stock photo above. So might be a good upgrade for earlier model owners. Just my .02.

I believe the stock cluster that was pictured started for 20 because even my 19 doesn't have it.

No, thank you.

I wish the 4Runner didn't have an infotainment unit. My Civic SI has an AC, radio and CD player...and it will still be running when most 2022 models have hit the junkyard.

The less tech the better. I want all of the build cost spent on components that matter - engine, transmission, suspension, frame, etc.

224K on the clock and almost 23 years old...and she's a clean machine...just like my 4Runner will be in 2045.

I bought the R pro digital gauge display for my model year 21 trail edition 4runner.
I received the unit with the wrong harness. After numerous attempts, they finally got back to me and sent the correct ones. The mileage synced over incorrectly. They sent a download which got it closed but is still incorrect. Now I get a check engine light every drive. I have attempted through every means possible to contact them. They're nearly impossible to get a hold of. They sent one update which didn't fix the issue and now they've told me to wait while they work for an update to address it, that was a week ago and I followed up today and have heard nothing back. I was told they have to find the same vehicle to determine the issue. I guess I have to wait until they find a
'21 trail to test on. While trying to address this issue on the forum on their website, they deleted my post and I am locked out of the entire website. I've brought this to their attention several times yet I'm still locked out for I guess posing the question. They have you believe they're based in Canada but the unit ships from China and when they have gotten back to me, they tell me the engineer is sleeping because of time zone difference. So they might be licensed in Canada but they seem to be China based. If it worked correctly, it would be awesome. However, a check engine light. Every drive is pretty annoying. Beware.
