I have sport yellows on the way also and we have zero fog or snow in south Florida.

Also on the way XD HID kit with Phillips 4300k bulbs and the XD 9005 LED with DRL driver, and LASfit switchback turn signals for the front.

Hey all,
Torn between the yellow and the whites. I live in NM and we don’t see that much rain/snow. My thoughts are that the whites would be a better choice, thoughts from you all?

Order yellow and wait for them to start selling clear lenses. Swap the yellow lenses for the clear and you have the best of both worlds. They say the yellow uses a warmer 4300k LED and the clear uses a colder 6000k or so LED.

Ordered me a set in sport yellow. I already have the Toyota LED fogs in black that come on the highlander, etc. But the color temp on the Toyota LED fogs are not to my liking.

Just bought myself a pair after hearing Baja Designs' fix on their fog pods to meet SAE compliance were to control the glare output in the light pattern by placing a black border around each bulb which block light output. Not sure if that is as efficient. Going to try DD fogs out and see.

As much as I wanted to support a local business here in San Diego, the Baja SAE fogs have too many issues and this "fix" doesn't sound all that great. I've had 0 issues with the SS3s so far, and I run them almost every night. I have other lighting projects in mind that BD would be great for.

Well I wont know how they are until at least Monday. Looks like the wiring adapters are being sent by horseback delivery. No big deal... ill just wait for the item that actually makes the lights turn on. Pretty much think of just keeping the Baja Designs now

I got the SS3 Pro's in selective yellow on my '15 Limited, and love them! Paired with XD 4300K HID low beams, they compliment each other nicely, the SS3's honestly nearly drown out the HID's up close, but the HID's still provide better distance. The width of the SS3's is amazing, lights up the ditches where the deer lurk just like I'd hoped.

Install on a Limited trim is a bit of a PITA, there's no room to get the allen wrench in to tighten the lights to the brackets on the one side, so I needed to adjust and tighten the one side, then pull them back out to tighten the other side.

I have both the SS3 pro fogs and driving pods in 6K installed and I love them. I would post pics but it's such a pain on this forum with the file limits (should increase those..). I'm very impressed by the quality of these and also love their powder coated mount that matches perfectly with any ditch light brackets. They look better than my squadron pros that they replaced.

I had the same question and had a discussion on Facebook, “Yes, it’s possible. 4 small torx bolts and you can swap lenses back and fourth. Lenses haven’t been released but coming soon. Similar swap to Baja Designs except the bolts are on the backside”

I got my kit the other day but the mounting brackets are both "RH". I had to flip the bracket upside down on the drivers side to fit. The screws go in fine, but the bottom is cocked a little because I had to force the bracket to align with where it mounts on the bumper and messes with the up and down aim of the fog lights.

Yes, you should have received LH and RH brackets. I would contact Diode Dynamics right away to have them correct it.

Loving mine. They also get nice and toasty, perfect for melting snow and getting rid of condensation.

Haha, that is unfortunate. I took the bracket off and drilled the hole "longer". Fitment is good now.

My box was also labeled as the pro's but I ordered the sport. I can confirm they are the sport. I didn't want the pros because I wanted as clean of a cutoff as I could get.

Should have a LH and a RH bracket, that sucks.

Seems the demand for these far outstripped their expectations, but I'm VERY happy with my selective yellow Pro fogs, they are all I had hoped for and I can use them on the road without getting flashed.

Installed my SS3 Sport Yellow Fogs yesterday on my Limited Edition.

The instructions say to reuse the factory mounting bracket, but it didn't look possible. The factory bracket has an adjustment screw that goes across the back of the light. But the new SS3's have a bunch of protruding heat sink fins coming off the back which wouldn't allow the factory bracket to attach.

So I used the new brackets supplied in the box. Everything went together easily, plug n play. But my fogs are showing up higher than my low beams and I don't have that adjustment screw anymore to move the lights.

At first I thought maybe I put the left one upside down on the right side and vice versa, but I called today and they said there is no left or right. So is there a way to adjust them that much to get the beam lower than the low beams? Isn't that where it should be?

I see a lot of info about aiming headlights at 28-33" from ground at 25ft, but haven't come across fog aiming recommendations.
