I replaced my low beams with an LED light. The light had a fan and fins on the back of the light. I had to cut away a few fins as the light would not screw in as the housing space was somewhat tight. Are their any restrictions to the size of the bulb and backing with the fog light? I don't want to run into the same issue with the fog lights.
Tutorial was great.

Anyone have a picture of the yellow laminX version? Is it a cover you can take on and off or is it a permanent painted lens? I'm trying to decide which color to go with.
Thanks

Thanks for the close up pic, made the decision easy to try these out.
You may want to do a fog light bulb upgrade at the same time as installing the Lamin-X.
I found the near useless factory fog light bulb was completely useless after I installed the Lamin-X.
I installed the Phillips LED bulbs for a noticeable improvement over the factory bulb, let alone the factory bulb with Lamin-x...

Not cheap, but an easy install.
Thanks Magnetic, I had purchased the bulbs first because of exactly what you said...
poor lighting from the dogs and arguably the whole 4runner lighting system (have also upgraded interior lights to LED)
but as soon as I saw your close up, the decision to go with the amber cover was made.
Thanks again for our post !

What did you use to Yellow out your Fogs? I sent mine off to Lamin-x and they still lifted. Any help would be appreciated.
