Direction of Tires

I thought stock tires for 5th Gen are directional because the rotation order from the manual is only front to rear not left to right. However, I recently noticed that the threads for left and right are exactly the same (when turn it 180 degree, not mirrow).

I wonder if this implys discrepancy of intallation and if it is worth to go to a dealership get it fixed.

I don't think any of the OEM tires offered on the 5gen are directional. I also wouldn't use the recommended tire rotation guide in the manual to determine whether or not they are.

Looking at the tire is the only way to find out!!

Unless they have an arrow, they are not directional. My Dueler H/T's were not directional nor are my replacement Destination A/T's.

It does have an arrow like symbol with letter D in the center. The directions of the arrow are different for the two sides.

I did not see much difference in regards to the threads but they are not the same.

Here is the picture. They are stock Dunlop tires. I think they are directional. My question is that if it is worth to go to a dealership get it fixed (and if dealerships will do it)

I think that D is just the Dunlop logo. Just look up the tire specs online and confirm that it isn't directional, but I'm pretty sure they are not.

That is the Dunlop logo.

As long as the tires are rolling forward in drive, and backwards in reverse...you're good to go!

I guess their logo is directional too
