Dirt cheap 2wd worth flipping?

98 Toyota 4Runner 2wd Ltd


The women said it had a replaced engine with about 100k on it and it's from New Mexico. Needs rear wheel bearings and a starter rebuild. I assume the frame is in good shape.

I already have a 96 4wd elocked. Just wondering if this would be a worth while project. I don't want to be stuck with a 2wd!

It's priced about what it's worth (especially in your neck of the woods). What would you do to add value before selling it on?

Maybe I'm mistaken. Forget Blue Book and NADA, what are 2wd 4Runners actually selling for where you're at? Around here you can't give them away.

I wouldn't fool with it at that price, personally.

That's odd. For that price here, I'd buy it and sell the truck for at least 2500 without fixing a thing.
