What do you edit with. I'm getting into the gopro now and haven't looked into editing yet.

Thank you! I'm not sure what's next, probably just using the 4Runner for what it was built for and keeping up on maintenance. But, I've told myself that several times and I end coming up with something else to build or add! I guess we'll see…
[MENTION=79311]zonedriven[/MENTION] - I use iMovie, it came on my computer and it gets the job done. It's a little basic, but for what I'm doing it's fine. It's just a hobby and a fun way to document some of my past trips. I'm about half way through editing the footage from my last trip, I'll post it up in the next few days.

Nice video, your rig is so sick. Same with that beast trailer you have. It got my vote for T4R of the year, more people need to vote for you IMO you deserve it

Small update…
I replaced the Sonoran Steel panhard bar with a HD Toytec panhard bar (no pictures). The bushings were shot in the SS bar (over an inch of movement) after only two seasons. The Toytec bar has heim joints, while the SS bar has rubber bushings. For the amount of wheeling I do I feel that heim joints are a better option. Like anything, the heims will need replacing down the road but I will just plan on doing a complete suspension overhaul as needed. My upper links are holding up great so far.

I took the 4Runner out last weekend for a little snow wheeling. The conditions were not the greatest, as the snow was super drifted and packed pretty heavy. I got stuck a couples times, had to shovel out one of the times. It took me all day to just get to where normally the fun starts, but it was still a fun trip and the weather was beautiful!

I took the 4Runner out, this time down to Buena Vista. The snow is getting a little deep up here and I was looking for a new area to explore that would have minimal snow (if possible). I have been looking at trails out in the Moab area lately, and I guess that contributed to my spring fever. I was really looking for some dirt, and some nice sunny weather!
I decided to check out a couple trails in the Fourmile area, which normally doesn’t get much snow. It’s a large network of trails, about half of them have seasonal closures, and so I mapped out the longest route I could through the open trails. I started south of the turn off for Chinaman’s loop at Bald Mountain Gulch, and worked my way north.
I took one of the first spur trails and found a cool little camping spot with a great view of the valley below. I will have to check it out later with the trailer in tow.
I continued on until I reached the turn off for Bald Mountain Loop. It was a fun little detour with amazing views from the top, and the hardest section of trail on this trip. It was steep going up, and coming down the backside of the trail was a section of switchbacks, and much deeper snow than I anticipated. I made it through without a problem, but there were a couple pucker moments along the way!

I continued down the main trail, where the snow started to get deeper. It was about this time that I decided that I needed to get a move on if I wanted to complete my trail list before dark. So after crossing over Highway 285 I continued north, and was greeted with even deeper wind blown, tracked up, sugar snow. Most of the trail was on the back side of the mountains in the shade. I made forward progress but I didn’t bother with pictures.
Once I crossed over to the west facing side of the trail it became dryer, and I felt comfortable taking a side trail to check out the “Fourmile Arch”. It wasn’t really on par with Utah, but it was cool nonetheless and I found a nice camping spot pretty close.
I finished the rest of the trail, aired up, and on the way out ran into the coolest find of the day; The Midland railroad tunnels. There are three (more like four) tunnels all in a row that follow the old railroad grade, and the road continues along the Arkansas River (opposite side of the Highway) for several miles.
All in all, I traveled more than thirty miles off-road, not too bad for Colorado in January. While the weather wasn’t quite as warm as I had hoped for (and it was quite windy), it was still a great trip!

I finally got the GoPro footage edited from the above snow wheeling trip, and posted it up to Youtube. I had a ton of footage so I'm planning on making a second movie of the upper section of the trail, if I have time. As you can tell from the video and pictures, it was slow going but still a fun trip! :snacker:

I bought this one for my wife to drive, we ran out of room in her old car with my daughter. It's a 2001 SR5 in Stellar blue pearl w/ thunder cloud flares (one owner, with records). I really have no idea how I find this stuff; I was looking for something, anything, other than this color, but what would you know…
