More progress.
I finished the rear storage cubby, it's perfect for smaller items that I need to get to on a regular basis.
Now it just needs some baby struts to hold the cover up...

And it just happens that the LED light I installed in the tailgate years ago lights up the stove perfect!
You need to built a grill master seat that slides into your receiver hitch so when you're manning the grill, you can sit down. Or a bumper dumper :hungry::toilet3:

Seriously though, I just like wheeling, exploring and camping. I wouldn't say I fit in any one group.
We'll see, all the stuff in there is pretty much in and out. If there is a need it would be pretty easy to add one.

It should work pretty well. Although, I might need to come up with some kind of a mosquito net to keep bugs out of the sleeping area.

Yes, but first I had to finish the sleeping arraignment.
I bought a tempurpedic mattress pad and cut it to match the sleeping area.
It was super comfortable, but a little on the soft side. So I put a Thermarest pad that I had for emergency snow wheeling under it. Perfect!
Then I made a cover for it, by hand. For anyone thinking about it, do yourself a favor and get a sewing machine. It sucked and took a ton of time! But it's done and ready to go!

I'm just amazed at your wife.... for letting you go off for X time... I wish mine let me, but then again she'd rather tag along with kid and dogs and ...

I also needed some kind of privacy curtain, and something to block the light from the front half of the truck. I picked up some black out curtains, some bulk bungie cord, and some simple brackets. It's nothing fancy but it's super fast and effective, and makes for a cozy sleeping area.

So on to Moab...
The plan was to meet up with [MENTION=94888]EatonKyleH[/MENTION] Friday afternoon at camp, then head up to Top of the World. The rest of the group would be showing up that night and he had never been on that trail. It seemed like a great time to show him the trail at a casual pace, and it would be a good shake down run for his truck. Everything was going great, I got to camp and unloaded the truck, then we proceeded up to the trailhead.
It was great to be back on the trail, especially a technical trail. As you guy's know, I've had a rough year when it comes to wheeling. Ever since last years snow wheeling incident I've been plagued with issue's. We worked our way to the overlook, both of us playing around on some of the harder lines.
At the overlook we hung out and took in the views. Kyle took a bunch of pictures and I played with my new toy, a DJI Phantom 4 that I purchased with the last of my "trailer fund".
It was starting to get late, so we continued down the rest of the loop on the way back to camp. This section of trail is a bit rough, and has some smaller ledges to drop down. I guess it goes back to the old green 4Runner, but I always feel the need to drop the 4Runner through the nastiest spot I can find, I have bumpers and skid plates so it really doesn't matter. There is a good spot on the way down that really flexes out your rig, so we both played around and took some pictures.

I drove up the last section of the loop and onto the main trail, Kyle was a couple minutes behind me so i waited for him to catch up. When he came over the ledge he was missing his fender flare and his alignment was all messed up.
