Haha no problem man, and yeah I just got the itch to do it again when I saw the mud hole. Didn't do anything serious though. Also a small update, after some serious consideration and researching, aka Singtoe's build among others, I'm going to end up doing a v8 swap. The reason being that I want more power and I feel that I can't justify buying the supercharger and for the money I would spend, I might as well go with a v8. I will be following Singtoe's thread very closely after I find a sequoia. I walk to work everyday so not having a vehicle isn't a problem for me at all.

Alright so for those if you that are curious gather round because the story is there and I'm going to tell you what you need to hear, it started a month ago when I got back from deployment you see...okay seriously, I got back from deployment and had shit for tires, the kuhmos I had were just terrible. So I took my happy ass to the discount tire near base the day after I got back. I told the guy I needed to get new tires and I want to get 285s, that being said I figured they wouldn't put them on because of rubbing issues. I said I wanted a test fit so we put em on and they actually cleared the UCA with an about 1/8th inch gap. Good enough for me beings my drive to Texas was due in the next hour. So driving around town, I didn't have any rubbing, driving 23 hours straight to Texas, minimal rubbing till I got about 23 miles from my parents house I started hitting the UCA when I would go above 55mph. After that I had to reroute because they were doing work on I-10 I hit a sharp turn and rubbed the inside of my wheel well pretty good on the passenger side.

With all that being said I would say that it's safe to run them IF you're only doing daily driving, I wouldn't keep your truck at stock hight for too long if you're going to run 285s the least you can do is get the front 1 1/4 inch coil spacers from toytec. Or if you want to keep it at stock hight, the 1.25inch wheel spacers also work wonders. At the very least of what I have explained I would say that there are precautions to take into consideration when going with 285s at stock hight.

Okay a member asked me to post up pictures and a sound clip of the exhaust I installed so here it is. Sorry about the squeaky voice, it was cold...

okay haha I was about to say. I got them from eBay, if you type in Cadillac big horn set they come up.

Speaking of meet ups, maybe we should set one up for Saturday next week?

Sorry about the really late reply, but thanks for the schematic for the cab lights! I've been doing a wiring project myself, setting up the 4runner for a Code 3 MX7000 off a wrecker. $30 bucks for the lightbar, none of it worked when I got it until I rewired it. Now most of it works. Annnnnd I believe I have justification to build a plate bumper now.
