Disable DRL on 02?

Is it really as easy as clipping one wire to disable them?

I don't really need a on/off switch, I'm competent enough to know when my lights are on or off..lol

I'm gonna be putting some Sylvania zXe bulbs in and think the DRLs will kill them in no time.. so I just want them off during the day

instead of putting a switch in line on the wire you cut, just leave it cut and tape off the ends. Thats effectively what the switch does when its switched off anyway. Dont forget to move that other green wire to a new ground.
