Disconnected hose in jack compartment

I bought a used 2012 Limited about 6 weeks ago. I was organizing some stuff today and had to jack compartment open and found a hose that terminated in the jack compartment. Based on what I've found on the forum this is the sunroof drain hose. On the 4th gens, it drained out the side of the 4Runner through a port.

From what I can tell, the 5th gen has a port in a similar location, but there is another port about 6 inches back in 2 in down. Both have a rubber grommet sealing them. I've been searching the 5th gen forum and looked in the factory service manual, but I can't figure out if those drain line is supposed to just terminate in the jack compartment, or drain out the side like a 4th gen. And if it drains out the side (which seems logical), which port? Any ideas?

Here are the 4th gen threads for reference:

I didn't see one back there, but I also didn't pull the panel beyond just the little hatch. I just want to know why that hose is floating and isn't connected to anything. It seems like it should be connected, I jus don't know where.
