Also worth the mention that Discount Tire Direct will cover ANY tire they sell with their certificate program (I just got off the phone with them).

I always call my local shop as I prefer to do local business if I can and their price was actually cheaper to purchase/mount&balance but they CANNOT offer any road hazard protection (and it doesn't look like Tirerack gives that option either).

So I will pay a few bucks more in the end to get the tires I want from DTD with certificates and pay to have them mounted at my shop here locally. BUT I will be covered under their certificate's policies which is pretty comprehensive.

Actually did this deal earlier this week. Got my local dt to pm the sale and got some Cooper at3's. Don't forget some of these have rebates, coopers have a $70 rebate with them now too. Went with some 265s and I feel like I should have went bigger..

I just placed my (two) orders for a set of 4 Yoko Geolander 285/70/17 D ranges. Yoko is also running a $60 rebate as well till the 31st. So essentially was buy 3 get 1 free.

I'll be calling them when I get them to get the certificates and then go have them mounted in the next few weeks but definitely before the snow threatens as my tires now would be worthless. in it.

They didn't have the rim in the same offset that I purchased from them previously, they'd have to order it. They said they wouldn't offer the coupon even tho they have the it in other offsets and plan on getting more of what I need in the future.

Hrmm... Mine show up today and I am showing the full 464 vs the 364 on my PayPal completed. I'm going to email them now. During checkout everything rang up correct, and showed up correct during "pending" but seems the "cleared" amount went back to full price.

Will update with what I hear.

Edit/Update: Hrmm... further checking of my Bank info that the balance was taken from my Paypal for shows the proper $364 amounts. Interesting.... Either way I sent an email, and am waiting to hear what they say.

As stated in my previous post if you open the transaction details it show the discount price. The "sale" is through eBay, not DTD, so as the seller they still get the "full" price and eBay is fronting the $100 coupon to them. Your PayPal in the transaction details will show the $100 total for you purchase.

DTD has an Ebay store on Ebay.com.
