So, you went and bought a Jeep GC? You do realize that you probably have to spend more on the Jeep to take it mudding vs. a 4runner. Sorry, the ONLY Jeep worth buying is the Wrangler...at least its heritage and pure off-road capability can make up for its shortcomings in quality. Any other Jeep is worthless and a shell of its former self.

I am glad that you make over $200k...but apparently money does not buy common sense nor financial responsibility.

You shared a dealer experience. That's it. Then you ended up leasing a jeep. The reason I hate jeep is the gigantic unions and it was bailed out. I lost all respect for the big three after they were bailed out. Historically keeps have been very Unreliable. Lusting after jeep just because it's an american company is stupid. That's the great thing about freedom is we can choose what we drive. I've been in the military for over 12 years. Deployed 3 times. If someone wants to spit on the flag that's their right. That's why I serve. Just like West boro Baptist church. They have protested my friends funerals, but it's there God given american right. The reason why we believe you to be a troll is your very first post in the board you cried about a dealer without doing research and then praised a jeep dealer. If that's how you feel. IMHO, Toyota dealers are worse than most. It's not really a surprise considering the fact that they are car dealers. It's a bit like being surprised that a bear shits in the woods.

And Toyota's have problems too. Pretty good overall, but far from perfect.

Actually, they did take 5.9 billion in Government (Taxpayer) loans, just not under the 'TARP' bailout.

Of course Ford doesn't like to talk about that..

We started looking for our 4runner around xmas. My local dealers suck they either low balled me on my trade or did not have or would get what we wanted. Several dealers sold vehicles out from under me . By the time I got to them it was sold. What a real pita......We finally found Prime Toyota Lancaster Ma. we worked with them on line they located the white sr5 premium we wanted they quoted a fair trade and the deal was done. We got what we wanted Prime was fair on all bases everyone is happy.

Buddy, you had a bad experience with a Salesman.

If that's enough for you to buy another brand of vehicle, go do it. I think it's probably safe to say that all of us have experience with good and bad Salesmen.

If I want a particular product, but do not like my experience with an individual Salesman or store, I buy the product or a different product, elsewhere.

As you've mentioned, we have that Freedom in this Country.

No one cares about your income or net worth. Why that somehow became germane to this thread, I have no idea.

Bottom line: Buy a Toyota 4Runner or don't. You're just wasting your time and that of others, with this thread.
