DLak 5th gen build thread

Now that's a rear bumper I could grow to like! The dimpled holes in the bumper facia are a nice touch.

I hope everything that makes up this Outdoor Logic bumper is being templated with an eye to production .. I predict many, many orders.

.. and that's likely the most thoughtfully engineered trailer I've come across, Dlak. Cudos to you and your buddy who's building it! I'm envious.

Thank you I appreciate the compliment. I just gave the truck to Jimmy from ODL and said "Make me a tire carrier" He covered everything I wanted in a rear tire carrier without even mentioning it to him. They have done a quality job so far and the best part is that I didnt have to leave the truck with them for 3 months! The truck should be ready sometime this week.

I really liked that you slanted the back. I wish now I would have done that with mine. The holes are also a great touch.

Good work, you make awesome stuff man!!!! Really top notch!!!

Pics

Here are a few more pics. As you can see, the tire holder is angled perfectly. IMO it looks a bit more aggressive that way.

Here are a couple more shots of the adventure trailer. The custom airbags have been installed in the trailer. This will be connected to the 3 gallon air tank that has been installed in the spot that my spare tire used to be. The tank will be filled by twin viair 444c pumps. I will have the ability to raise and lower both sides at the same time or tilt the trailer from side to side with incab switches. I am planning on getting it powder coated but for now we rattlecanned it so that I can drive it around and do a shake down run (MOAB)! The 3 man tent will be mounted on top of the trailer with sliding tubes so that I can have the option of getting more height with the tent.

What trails are you all running ?
You have to get out to the infamous " crack " and take a sweet poser shot

We got back last night, it was hot down in the valley so we had to move camp up to ooowah lake. We did Fins n things, Parts of hells revenge, and Kane creek. We ran out of time or else I would have hit damn nearly everything! I am planning on going out sometime next year maybe spring to finish what I started. Never got to the crack. If you guys are down for next spring let me know. And that goes out to anyone on the forum!
