Mine came with the clear edge guards like above, also has a film behind the handles, which is where I have always managed to scratch my vehicles. I haven't hit my door on anything, but it's nice to have, and better looking that those black rubber ones.

Ya know, most tint shops who do clear bras will have scrap material layin' around, usually in a big box near the installer's bay, just for this sort of stuff!

Go in, ask 'em how much they would charge to put two little strips on the door edges, chances are they won't even charge ya for it, although 10 or 20 bucks would be nice to tip the installer...
