Do people call your 4Runner a Pathfinder?

It doesn't bother me so I don't correct them either. I'm outside of Philly where most everyone is opinionated and I'm probably in the minority for not correcting. I've found that even people who work for aftermarket auto parts companies make the minor mistake....but Raptor?
I also have a 2012 Frontier and that just gets called "your truck".

my wife drives a '15 pro4x and most people around here won't even call it a truck :wtf:
yeah i laughed at raptor because i had sent him a raptor video like 10 minutes before and he's seen pics of my 4runner multiple times. common sense would tell you they are very different but he is about as far from a car guy as you can get.

4Runners are well-known where I live, I get more comments on it and how many miles are on it (they know they last a long time) than any other vehicle I've owned. Was hilarious at the Nissan dealership when the guy just wanted to see the supercharged engine.
Same here. It's funny b/c most people who call it Pathfinder are car enthusiasts. Usually current or previous 4Runner owners call it a 4Runner.
I also forgot to say that they never call it anything other than Pathfinder. No Explorer, Xterra, etc.

I have tons of friends call it a jeep all the time, Men and woman. I act insulted and tell them never to call it a jeep again.

Never had anyone call it a Pathfinder. They usually just admire it. I have been offered $$$ to buy it.
I had a college buddy who had a 2dr 4wd Pathfinder. Indestructible, good old Nissan hardbody. Got stolen. Pathfinders from 2005 on have been absolute junk. I guess Nissan thought the Xterra would be just as good, which it wasn’t.

Mine has been called a Jeep many times. My mother-in-law called it a mini van when i first bought it and it was stock.

I used to call the 4runner "the jeep", all the time. Most of it was just being used to having a jeep. I wouldn't be insulted if someone else called it a jeep either. If they are talking about it, that means they noticed it. If they noticed it they have taken a step in the right direction towards becoming part of the car culture.
Also, saying jeep is a lot easier. One syllable. Both toyota and 4runner have three, shorten them to "yota" or "runner" and it's still two syllables. So I often call the 4runner "the car" when we are out in it.
