Do temp arrows light up?

I recently bought an '06 Sport, and I noticed that the up & down temp arrows do not light up when you push them. Are they supposed to? All of the other arrows light (A/C, fan speed controls, defrost / floor air flow, etc.) Thanks.

They all lights up in my 4Runner. I didn't mentioned if they light up or not while you pushing them, but do you need to see the light up arrow when you have your finger on it???

The words "Temp Up" and "Temp Down" light up, but the arrows don't. All of the other arrows on the other controls light up. I don't need to see a light when my finger is on the control, but I'm just curious if they are supposed to light up or not. If everyone else's light, then I'll have to have mine fixed.
