Dobinsons 5th Gen T4R Suspension options - from Exit Offroad

I wouldn't suggest 3.5" front lift with KDSS. The fixed bracket on the passenger side would most likely cause a lean at that lift height since it's holding the sway bar solid.

Our twin tube struts are not adjustable, so you have to select the correct coils to match the weight on the truck and get the lift height you want.

The fronts are the same left and right with that combo, so you would offset the KDSS lean by using offset height rear coils.

Yeah i know im grasping for a bit much with the KDSS lol....is 3in possible?

Currently running Toytec super flex coils w/ bilstein 5100 in the rear and wanting more lift. I carry about 100-150lbs all the time. Was wondering which coils would be better between C59-675V and C59-725 since I have KDSS. I don't mind taking the lean out by adjusting the coilovers if the 675v would be better. Also thinking about doing a KDSS delete

How much lift do you have with your current setup? C59-675V would be fine, but you'd be right up to about 3" even with the weight, so the KDSS would probably start holding down one side pretty hard to cause a lean. Deleting the sway bars would correct that though.

From the measurements I’ve got, I only gained a leiitle less than 2” in the rear. Front is Bilstein 5100 w/ adjustable coilovers set around 2.75” at the moment. Driveline angles are almost straight so I’m sure I can go up some in the front

OK. C59-725 are at about 2.25" with no rear end weight.

A few people have done this. It would add about 1" to the height it's at now.

Great springs, and solid adsie from Mike.

Just finished the install of front springs (C59-748R) and rear springs (C59-327).
Truck is aligned, rake and ride quality are superb, with the added benefit of supporting the weight of my added equipment and just the right amount of lift. Just need to put it to the test off road. Thanks Mike for pointing me in the right direction, and keep up the good work.

238 Front, 599 Rear (~ 1" lift front and rear)....265/70R17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers

The Dobinsons setup eliminated the brake dive and stiffened the cornering a little, not too much. Love this setup, highly recommend to anyone looking for a mild lift. Thanks Mike for all your help!!

I love the photo on the beach!!! The truck looks great in that environment

what rear spring would you suggest to pair with King OEM shocks with a truck that only has rock sliders?

I have a toytec 2 inch spring that is unbearably stiff and need to swap it out. It rattles my whole truck apart....

What height are you looking for? Either C59-599, 505, or 325 should be ideal. Most guys running full King shocks are using our C59-325 rear coils for 2" to 2.25" rear lift. Just depends what height you want to be at.

This looks great!!! it appears that you netted a little bit more than inch in the front. Do you have any measurements?

I would like to be around 2 inches if possible. But is 2 inch lift in the rear maxing out king shocks? With the toytec I have currently my truck ride like a dump truck in the rear....

What is the spring rate increase of these you list?

I have no specs of the King shocks. All our specs are listed in post #1 of this thread so that you can compare them.

If your current 2" coils aren't maxing out the shocks, then ours won't either. Ours are 220#, although you'll see all the options in post #1. Stock is like 190#. Some companies sell a 260# as a replacement which is far too high without heavy constant weight.
