Stock already has a rake so if you increase the front by 1" and the rear by 2" then uhhhh yeah that's going to make the rake worse. Simple math...

Yes, you can use those coils with the MRR's. With bumper and winch on the front, set the coil seat height to 213mm from center of lower bolt to bottom notch of seat height.

Mike, looking on Dobinsonsdirect.com, the Remote resevoir shocks are listed as part number MR59-50228 but the catalog from Dobinsonssprings.com shows a part number of MR59-50700.

As you confirmed for me before, I have the 75mm C59-314 coils up front and the MRR shocks will fit with my coils. Just curious if there is a difference between the two part numbers. My truck is a TRD Off Road.

It is MR59-50700, which is actually exactly the same as the MR59-50228. These were non-stocked items, but we recently received a very small amount of stock. Email me directly for a quote.

Any clarification of what a 'pretty big price increase' might equate to? I'm thinking of ordering new coils all the way around, just wasn't planning to pull the trigger right away....

Make sure you do a full travel/flex test before going out. I don't think that reservoir mounted on top will last, as the UCA might hit it on full up travel!! That wouldn't make for a very fun experience. Most mount them forward on the frame rail, nearest the bumper.

Mike, definitely will! the shop, that I fully trust, tried different locations including the the suggested spot for the kit and ended here at the top of the strut tower because the other locations were getting super close to the tire at full lock. Ill talk to the shop about mounting it forward. Thank you very much for letting me know.

It might work there, but the UCA's do have a pretty big upward range of motion, so that would be the main thing to check with a flex test.

how are you liking those General ATX tires?

I actually really like them! i havent lowered the pressure yet... was planning this weekend, but no issue getting them balanced, they are super quiet on road, the barely even noticeably louder than my highway tires. My MPG dropped by 2.5 with just the tires. White lettering is a cool bonus too.

hmm yea now im considering these over the KO2's . I was thinking of just staying with oem size but I might just say screw it and go 275's. your rig looks sweet with them!

Just called them and they did a full flex test on the car and said I was good. I am going in next week for a safety check anyway next week and I will discuss further with them and talk about moving the reservoirs. Also I think they were going to contact you through email soon. Thank you so much for the messages, this is one big reason I went with Dobinsons because of the customer service. so thank you!

The KO2 was actually the other tire i was considering. I didnt go with those because of a couple reasons. They are a couple pounds heavier, more unsprung weight, I saw a lot of people getting balancing issues, the KO2's are very noisy, and they dont have a mileage warranty.

General ATX are super quiet, weigh less than KO2's, have a 45 day refund period, are cheaper, have a mileage warranty, and they are three peak for snow.

I wanted a little more meat than the 265, but i didnt want to cut anything for the 285's so i went down the middle lol and a 275 still fits underneath where a 285 will not fit under the car.
