usually if the cap says 0-xx its synthetic.

on the very super rare occasion do you see regular oil have a 0-xx designation, but usually its more expensive than synthetic.

The owners manual doesn't specify synthetic, it just says the TOYOTA brand or equivalent. I did talk to the dealer and they did say it was synthetic and all the oil I have found in the 0W-20 weight is synthetic. So yes it takes synthetic :nod:
