Does 3rd gen T4R share charcoal canister with any other models?

Hello all - I've done countless amounts of research on replacing my charcoal canister but one piece of info I cannot seem to find is whether or not the 3rd gen T4R shares the charcoal canister part # with any other toyota model. I know a number of them were equipped with similar setups, but I'm not sure if they would plug-and-play.

Any help is appreciated!

I believe they are the same on the t100 and tacoma

Not much in way of details. It's off a '98 SR5. Truck had 102K miles on it when I got the parts off of it. Never used this so it's been sitting in my basement for about 18 months.

Seems unique to your year and model. In any case, you need the type that was mounted underneath back of the fuel tank not the one that goes in the engine bay like my '99 and earlier models.

The 2000 Taco has it in the engine bay so that sure won't work. What year were you looking at?

To be honest, I was just searching for *any* Toyota canisters since I didnt really know what to look for. Thanks for the help!

Durk is correct. Unfortunately I don't think mine will fit your truck.
